Charity Work

Many years ago I was asked by the RSPCA in Bristol to turn donations of old coins and foreign currency into sterling; and around the same time I worked with a school in Gloucestershire to raise funds for a new classroom by getting parents, grand parents, families & workplaces to collect in foreign currency & out-of-date money to recycle into hard cash.

It has proved both an effective and fun way to raise funds, and since then I have helped a church roof fund, a play group, schools and a hospital support fund amongst many other projects.

I also now work for The Royal Navy’s Charity, the RNRMC, turning currencies donated from incoming ships into aid for their veterans, and for Naomi House Childrens’ Hospice where we have raised well over £45,000 over recent years towards their much needed support work. I also support NHS Yeovil Hospital Foundation breast cancer unit project.

So, if you want to raise money this way, either for a one-off project, or an ongoing basis please contact me.

Even a simple jar on a shop shelf can raise a few hundred pounds for your favourite local cause.
